							   communicating roots
Technique: Pastels luminance on F4 sheet.
The work wants to convey the sense of equality, starting from the fact that we are born from the same roots and we are connected to the same plant.
The same height of the two figures represents a further sense of gender equity against any stereotype.
This does not exclude that everyone has their own differences from the point of view of foliage and branches, which in this case refers to a difference from the morphological and/or behavioral point of view.

							   Man or Woman?
							  "Man or woman?"
This photograph wants to denounce the stereotypes related to the private / public dichotomy. There are represented 3 individuals, a working man, a housewife woman and the personification of society.
Society controls man and woman like pets through 2 leashes. The 2 people try to escape but society holds them tight and continues to affect them.
The society, just as represented in this work, imposes on us an attitude in today's world.

							   Apparent Truth
The sculpture is made by two plaster hands tied by red handcuffs: the woman's hand (on the left) has a closed handcuff to represent how she is tied up by society’s rules, while the man’s hand (on the right) also seems to have a handcuff, but it is open and the man’s pinky finger holds a key that opens the handcuffs. Therefore, this piece of art aims to visually show how, especially in the work environment, women and men seem to have the same opportunities and seem to be treated the exact same way but when it comes down to the core, men are always given an easier way out or treated as superior to women.

							   The Eye That Looks
In this work I wanted to portray what it feels like to be watched, to feel judged, to feel nude and objectified. However, the “angel woman” I chose to represent is quite different from how it has been represented in literature and art. In my version she is strong, angelic in a way that is almost scary, and not like the others would want her to be. In a situation where she is being objectified, she looks at the one who is watching and makes them look at themselves through mirrors, as per say “why are you looking at me, look at yourself instead.”

The absurd misunderstanding of the natural well-being
This is the hand that rules over all of us, all of you. We observe in disbelief, towards another dimension: there are those who humiliate and those who despise, all slaves of a squeeze.
This is the sixth sense, but of those who know how to find it. We observe differently towards the light, the reason: there are those who win and those who lose, courage is where it hangs.

							   Overlooked Grief
This piece of artwork aims to showcase women's struggles in the past due to inequality. Truthfully, women's rights were first adopted in 1979, the scene depicted in this painting taking place as far back as 1900, when women, billeted, bowed their heads, being considered objects of pleasure by the male gaze. The focal point highlights a young lady in grief at a funeral, thus the choice of the garments, and presumably her husband forcefully gripping her arm, rushing her to leave, turning a blind eye to her distress. His body language is open, he seems quite jovial, whereas she is closed off, troubled, turning her head away. In their proximity, a woman is kneeling next to a grave, gently hidden by an umbrella, creating an intimate space.
Information about artwork: oil paint on prepped canvas, layered technique, dimensions 30x40 cm, 3cm in depth. Warm-cool chromatic, blue/orange complementary, an inverted approach to render depth( warm colors in background, cool in foreground ).
Attitudes toward the scene are meant to be revolting. The relationship between these three figures is meant to show the status of woman and man, the woman being almost worthless. Even more, no one even notices, this kind of behavior being the social norm.
It is well-known that women then were ruled by their husbands, them having total authority over their wives and owning their bodies. Women did not have any basic human rights and could not be too educated, their sole purpose being to serve their partner.  If the lady was not from high society, she would also have to do all house chores and labor, they were not worth more than a slave. Nowadays we can proudly say this is not a reality for us, society is evolving. Indeed, there are still plenty of issues to resolve, but if the right measures are implemented and people get educated on this behalf, we can go far.

All genders MUST have the same rights
“All Genders MUST have the same rights and opportunity in society “
The main question is whether men and women are equal. The answer is not clear but it seems that the die wants to show equality. The image that represents both men and women is important because it explains to us that women and men are equal and each.
It has a part of both sexes as representing that personal
characteristics have no gender. After all, the only difference is in the karyotype only one chromosome changes for males y and for females double x. In the second slide of the work I focussed on the reality to date for women and more difficult because society is not welcoming to their needs that must reconcile motherhood and work currently the states are trying to break down this disparity between women and men.
Ultimately, I wanted to mention The 2030 Agenda has considered gender equality as a goal to be achieved by 2030 by sensitising states to this issue by creating steps to achieve the ultimate goal.

							   The key to the future
Since the beginning of time when art was first discovered, time has passed like a piece of a puzzle helping artists to evolve little by little to the possibilities of today. We humans have the key to open the lock to further evolve the secrets of art and the solution of all problems

							   Let’s Watch the STARS
"Let’s watch the stars" is a collage which represents a complaint to the society of today.
The art represents the European flag, as you know the background of the flag is normally blue but I decided to make it red to represent the complaint against the society.
The women take the place of the states inside the twelve stars, there are every kind of women: black, white, young, old and also a comic one, all of them should be considered the same as the twelve states are considered the same in the European Union.
Now everyone would ask why there is a man in the middle of the flag, and why he is without the face, and why inside the face is written LET’S WATCH THE STARS.
The man is in the middle of the flag to say that he controls everything in the society,I took off the face to represent the fact that every man controls the women around him and not only the one with that face, the slogan (which is also the title of my collage) is to say that the stars which are the women should be at the same level as the man.
So please after watching this collage remember to WATCH THE STARS.

Teamwork is always the best solution
I chose this photography because I believe that teamwork can bring about the most beautiful results. This is one of my favorite images that showcases the combination of women and men on a stage. Together, they managed to create a spectacular show that everyone loved. The stage is a place where anyone can rise; it is not just a place for men or just for women. I strongly believe and support that by combining masculine and feminine strength, we can achieve incredible results.

							   A painful smile
I decided to rapresent an abusive and toxic relationship ; sometimes women aren’t aware of the pain they are feeling because they’re blinded by the love they feel for their partner, so they tend to “smile” to hide all the violence they’re receiving

							   Don’t Be Silent

							   distances
I started from a painting of Hopper, where you can find a man reading a newspaper while a woman is playing a piano in a very sad way: it seems that she is living in world all alone, while the man is reading intensely and with energy and interest. On the contrary in the second image, there is the opposite situation, where a woman is reading a newspaper and the man is doing nothing besides a couple of glasses, thus looking very sad.

Two sides of the same coin
In this collage we rappresentante two aspects of todays woman's position. On the left we can observe how the woman's social status can be equal and also higher respect to a man meanwhile on the right we rappresented todays society response. The two arrows indicate how this phenomenon is a continuous loop

A normal day at the city of indifference
Description:The artwork, however extravagant and off topic it may be, talks about how despite there being a murder (regardless of whether it is a woman or a man) people ignore it or take a picture of it as if nothing had happened. This is a reflection (very subjective) of what I see when it comes to murders, especially femicides. The only word that can sum it all up is indifference.

A WOMAN IS ALWAYS A WOMAN

							   DIVERSITY AS STRENGTH
Men and women are not identical; their virtues and limits meet, accept each other, mix, as do the thousand shades of colours. The horizontal black lines recall the symbol of equality, under the banner of tolerance of diversity

							   Broken spring
It was the evening of march 13th, we were on the terrace together when you told me with your sparkling eyes that everything was just perfect between you and him. I was simply ignorant of the destiny you were doomed to. A year later I finally realize that your eyes I will simply never see again.

							   Tell them about Proserpina
In this picture, I wanted to recreate the statue of the “Rape of Proserpina” by Bernini, which is a statue depicting a myth which can be seen as a feminist myth since Proserpina is being kidnapped by the Greek god of the afterlife Ade, but in the end he makes a deal with Proserpina’s mother Cerere to take Proserpina in the outside world for 6 months every year and the other six months she would stay with him in the Nether realm. So I took inspiration from this but I translated it to a more modern view of the story to show that men are still acting like they are superior to women who are nothing but objects to them, and from this comes the title “Tell them about Proserpina” as an invitation to show young people the myth so that they can see for themselves that it is wrong and we have to stop this millenary “tradition”.

							   The art of dreaming
Even when no one supports you in your life choices, whatever they are, we must remember that we always have ourselves.
This work represents, in minimal part, some things that may have been told to us as children and from these with or without support we can get wherever our dreams want us to get.

							   The broken vase
The woman stuck in the vase, object of the man eye, there are many cameras that represent the woman as an “object”, as the concept of “nature”, JUST as a “body”, as a “passive individual. The woman wants to break the stereotypes, she needs to escape from the vase, to destroy it.

							   The key of change
This artwork is a representation of the chaos that is needed in order to make a change. The dynamic shows that before making a change our beliefs are spinning in our head and I think that's what art is supposed to do, making people THINK. Leaving them wonder what is this *key supposed to mean. Is it the path for a better future?
