149th School Sofia

149^th School is located in one of the biggest residential districts of the Bulgarian capital Sofia. By decision of the Bulgarian Government, our school was declared innovative. 

It has about 520 students (6-19 years old who receive all day training. There are 52 teachers and 12 people other staff. There are small number children from social institutions (without parents), 24 students with special education needs. 

Our school has implemented a working system for individual choice of students for work and extracurricular activities such as different sports (football, chess, fencing, volleyball and others). The school has interest groups and groups for overcoming learning difficulties in the different school subjects, dance and theater courses etc. 

Its main goal is using innovative methods of teaching to encourage students in taking advantage of the opportunity to get quality and accessible education. Иван-Хаджийски
